The locomotive control is provided by the amazing Hornby DCC Select unit which can be assigned with up to 59 locomotives with speed, direction, acceleration and deceleration levels - providing power is available, up to 10 locomotives can be controlled at any one time. (The transformer with this set will normally have the power to run 2 to 3 locomotives siultaneously).
