Resistance of hardwood floors treated with Osmo Hardwax Oil is higher than the floors treated with common wax and varnish finishes, because Osmo Wax reaches deeply in the wood and keeps it strong and lusty. Osmo Wax prevents timber of drying up and crumbling.
Preparation: Wood surface must be cleaned and dry (moisture content max.20%).Clean or slightly sand old micro-porous finishes, remove old varnishes (Osmo Paint Remover or sanding) Small dents and holes in the wood can be filled with Osmo Woodfiller. If required(rough surfaces) sand before application using sandpaper not coarser than grain 150.Remove dust carefully.
Maintenance: For daily cleaning use duster, mop, vacuum cleaner or floor polisher(a Hoover vacuum cleaner and Polisher is very useful).Floor can be cleaned with a dump cloth (add Osmo Wash and care to the water) and wipe dry as usual.-For heavier stains and regular maintenance Osmo Liquid Wax Cleaner is recommended.
Ingredients: Based on natural vegetable oils and waxes (sunflower-oil, soybean-oil, thistle-oil, carnauba-wax, candelilla-wax), paraffine. Siccatives (drying agents) and water repellent additives. Solvent: Disaromatized white spirit
(benzene-free, complying with the purity demands of the European Pharmacopoeia.)
Storage: Can be stored up to 5 years or more if can is full and tightly closed. Store in dry place. If thickened by frost it will regain normal consistency under normal temperatures within 24-36 hours.
