Stone Massage Heaters are manufactured specifically for the heating up of Basalt Stones for the use in Stone Massage therapy.
They come in 2 sizes - 6 quart and 18 quart

6 quart heaters are ideal for use in rooms with limited space whereas 18 quart heaters are for rooms with a bit more space.
The heater is of excellent quality and is CE approved.

Before First Time Use
1. Unpack your stone heater completely and remove the water reservoir, all packaging material, and information labels. Place unit in a well ventilated area on a heat resistant surface.
2. Check if your stone heater can be used under the voltage range of your area. If the specifications of the label indicate a different voltage range, please do not continue.
3. Turn the temperature control full counter-clockwise and plug the stone heater into a suitable outlet.
4. Turn the temperature control to the “Preheat” setting and allow the stone heater to operate for approximately 60 minutes, or until any odour or smoking disappears.
5. Some smoke and odour are a normal part of curing the heating element and will not occur again during normal spa use.
6. When curing is completed, turn the temperature control full counter-clockwise to turn the appliance off. Unplug the stone heater from wall outlet and allow the unit to cool.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
1. Wash all stones before each use.
2. Place a hand towel on the bottom of the stone heater water reservoir. Place all stones on top of the towel.
3. Before plugging appliance into outlet, add sufficient water and fill the water reservoir to just cover stones or fill to maximum capacity, but no more than one inch below top rim. Turn the temperature control full counter clockwise, place cover on appliance.
4. Plug power cord into a standard grounded outlet. Turn the temperature control to “Preheat” position for about 20 to 30 minutes to speed warm up time. When the water reaches the desired temperature, to the control to the “Operating Range” to maintain the proper temperature.
5. Use an accurate thermometer to measure water temperature in the Water Reservoir to ensure that stones are at a proper therapeutic temperature. Consult a professional therapist for correct stone temperatures if you are unsure.
6. The indicator lamp cycles off and on with the heating element. The element is heating when the lamp is on.
7. Carefully remove the first stone from the stone heater water reservoir. Test the temperature of the stone by touching it with your finger, then hold it in your hand.
8. When the therapy session is finished, turn the temperature control full counter clockwise to turn the unit off. Always unplug appliance when not in use.
9. Do not drop any stones into the heating unit. This may damage the appliance. Use with care when removing or replacing stones.
10. Do not apply warm stones to areas of your body that are inflamed.
